The Mool Mantar is the opening teaching of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and one of the most important foundations of Sikhi.
There is One Universal Creator / One God.
God’s Name is Truth / Eternal Truth.
The Creator Being — the One who creates and sustains everything.
Without fear.
Without hate, hostility, or enmity.
Timeless form — beyond death and time.
Not born — beyond the cycle of birth.
Self-existent — existing by itself, not created by anyone else.
Known through the Guru’s grace.
